About Llandrindod Wells Bowling Club
Founded in 1912 in the picturesque surroundings of the Rock Park, Llandrindod Wells Bowling Club has been host to many national and international events and remains a popular venue. The club has approx 120 playing members of all ages and abilities from age 11 to over 80. A variety of club competitions and events are held for players of all standards.
New Members/Social Membership
New members and beginners are welcome to come along to our Open Days and Club nights on Monday evenings. Free coaching and advice is available from the club’s qualified coaches and bowls are available for loan. More experienced players have the opportunity to attend coaching and umpiring courses. The club also welcomes social members.

Triples league nights – Mondays, Thursdays at 6.30 pm
Tarmac league matches – mixed rink matches (see fixtures)
Two mens’ teams play in the Mid Wales League and the ladies in the Brecon and Radnor League. The Mid Wales Mens’ Veterans League is very popular.
Touring teams and visitors from all over the UK are very welcomed –.
There are plenty of Guest Houses and hotels for accommodation all within close proximity of the greens.
A variety of social events are held throughout the season. The excellent facilities including disabled access, bar and catering are available for hire. Enquirers to the Club secretary.
Llandrindod Wells bowling club is the HQ of the Mid Wales Bowling Association and is affiliated to the WBA, WWBA, MWBA and MWWB
