2012 – Our Centenary Year
At the start of the 2012 season the club was presented with a new flag to celebrate its centenary year. The flag was presented by ladies Captain Yvonne Norton, grand-daughter of Tom Norton, founder in 1912 (see history section). Special events were held throughout the season, including a 24 hour sponsored bowl under floodlights which raised £3,423 for local charity

The Running Bowl : A Century of Llandrindod Wells Bowling Club.
Llandrindod Wells Bowling Club celebrated its centenary in 2012. This excellent book records the club’s history from the laying of the first green in 1912 to the hosting of one of the biggest bowling tournaments in the British Isles, international championships and the Third Atlantic Rim games.
It is a tale of development and expansion, expertise in green keeping, of national and international honours, as well as one of humour and enjoyment
